Monster A Day was a project I created with the intention of drawing one creature that was Halloween inspired each day and then posting each drawing once a day onto my blog for the month of October 2012. At the end of the project I found myself with 31 character designs and original art drawings that I have developing further into prints and other merch type visual goods such as necklaces and other wearable art which will has been sold on my Angie Mason Art Shop. The logo for this project was hand lettered showcasing type treatment and font design by hand. Doing a daily project like this for a month long creative challenge not only keeps up your own personal motivation but inspires others at the creation rate and level of output. It also forces you to just draw and I found the more I draw and make stuff the more inspired and full of ideas I am.
